Cleveland Fan Expo 2025

This was my first major event & show as The Art!ficer. It was truly an amazing experience to have. Being able to finally connect with people that enjoyed my art in person was inspiring, and something that will keep me going creating for everyone. To me, art is not a luxury nor a privilege, so I love bringing that mindset to my art to bring attention to things I’m passionate about.

Please enjoy this time capsule of where it all began for me with my first table.

some of my wares

Most of my products were some of my designs that I had been waiting to share with world in this format — like my ghost buddy works — where I got to print them on a clear vinyl to allow the design to really speak to the fact that its not a solid mass. This also allowed me to see how surfaces and color gradients appear on stickers printed in such a way. This applied to other works — like the snake knife designs — and finally getting to see the blades come to life with a chrome finish; this was done by applying cut out zones to the print file. Or even the last minute addition of an inspired Kirby piece I got to play with that was printed on glow in the dark vinyl. Which allowed the green to really show off and give the background a cool dirty money feel.

using what I had

When it came to displaying my wares I had to think a little outside of the material plane. I was new and didn’t have a lot of money (I also had no idea what was going to stick its landing). So I headed into the fey wild and let myself get lost in the DIY and improvise. Using my skills to make my own signs on printed paper, using plant propagators (pictured with stickers) to display / decorate, and even using throw blankets as table covers. I fashioned ways to prop up my prints out of unused panels of cat litter splash shields & dollar store wooden close hanger clips. One of the other things I did was used paint markers and paper tags to display prices… and it came out even better than I could have hoped. Even with all the zip ties and double sided tape.
